I have been scolded at that I haven’t written in awhile and it was just. So I just took off in the bus today headed to South Dakota with some pit stops on the way including helping to fix a roof (what little help I can provide) for Ang’s RV in New Lebanon, OH, a 40th Bday party for Carlitoway in Chicago, and this first stop in Tamarack…… The Best of West Virginia
Tamarack is the bomb! It was introduced to me a couple of years ago by some friends going to kayak the Gauley. It is located off I77 exit 45 in West Virginia. It consists of an art gallery, a theater, and most important the restaurant. The menu varies but I can guarantee you that it will be excellent home cooking. So next time you are zooming through West by God and see the Tamarack sign; stop, pass the travel plaza, and go to the top of the hill. You will not ever pass it without stopping again. Even if it is just for the fresh cobbler….. Paul, this one is for you!
